Universal component measuring machine
January 5, 2016Small universal instrument for measuring resistance, capacitance, inductance and semiconductor components such as: diode, transistor and others. What is it and what is my experience with it?
I often need to measure various components sometimes even induction.
So far I have been using a large vintage meter, which I have been using since I made switches for
reprobedny.
However, I came across a small universal meter that can measure induction as well.
It is a builders which can be bought in a box as well.
It is sold as DIY Multifunction Transistor Tester Kit For LCR ESR Transistor PWM Signal Generator M328 at Banggood

Parameters
The basis of the meter is a processor from Atmel, here specifically the ATmega328 model.
The meter can measure the following quantities:
- Resistance: 0.5Ω ~ 50MΩ
- Capacitance: 30pF ~ 100mF
- Inductance: 0.01MH ~ 10H
It also measures various semiconductor components i.e. diodes and various types of transistors. The instrument can detect the type of transition and basic parameters of the component.
The device can also serve as a PWM signal source.
The meter operates on 5V. It can be powered from an external 5.5V ~ 12V power supply or from a battery, for example 9V.
An old bartd, a radio amateur addicted to TESLA meters said about this meter: Now I can throw all my meters away. I'll have a place in my workshop again.
