The IQRF platform
is developed by the company microrisc.
Development is supported only for the MS Windows OS.

A copy of the current repository branch can be made e.g.: git clone git://github.com/nandra/liqrf.git
You also need the CC5X compiler, which is on the CD and on the website of the module manufacturer, and which is run using wine.

I started with porting the IQRF library Liqrf to
Neo FreeRunner
I think it is possible (for me).
I am planning to make a python binding for easier and faster development.

I succeeded!!!
I made a simple test application to test the connection with the IQRF module.
I think it will work on every ARMv4T with linux. Of course you need USB with host mode.

I developed the program NeoIQRF. It is the first program with a GUI for the OpenMoko which communicates with IQRF.

Simple low cost board for communication between IQRF and PC via USBSimple small board for end nodes.
The board is also multiplatform, it works under Linux x86-32, x86-64 and Arm, even under MS Windows.

I bought new TR53B modules with IQRF OS v3.0 and SIM connectors for deployment in the project IQRF Wireless Monitorig
NeoIQRF and a simple low cost communication board
I connected the phone with the IQRF module using the Simple low cost communication board. It would be possible to connect the IQRF module with the TouchBook tablet in the same way.With a standard GNU/Linux system, connecting to the IQRF module using this interface was even easier than when using the IQRF develop board.
With true Gnu/Linux is every thing simple, only need time for hacking.
