Amplifier LUXMAN L-410
May 15, 2015
The Luxman L-410 is a Hi-Fi stereo amplifier from the Japanese company LUX Corporation. The amplifier was manufactured in 1983-1985. It is a high-end amplifier that still provides high quality sound reproduction today. Its parameters and sound quality are so excellent that those who knew this device still compare new products with it.
The Luxman L-410 is a transistor amplifier with 2x75W output. The amplifier's final stage is realized by paired transistors, which operate close to their limits. When the mains voltage was increased, they approached this limit even more. And as even the components age, it happens that the amplifier goes off and needs repair and refurbishment.
The amplifier has relay connected/disconnected outputs, so there is no annoying crackling in the speakers when the amplifier is switched on.
The amplifier is warming up and thus ready for operation is indicated by the indicator light.
The rotary knobs are implemented by fine potentiometers.
The beautiful clean and modern design of the front panel is timeless and thus the amplifier performs a constant excellent and decorative function.
Approximately 100,000 units of this amplifier and its variations have been sold in Europe, but despite its success rate it is a HI-FI rarity.
Several inputs allow you to connect different devices to switch between: radio tuner, turntable, cassette player. The amplifier has 4 CIN output jacks, to which reprobedny can be connected in various combinations.
The Luxman L-430 with 2x90W power output differs only minimally from the Luxman L-410. Simply put, the Luxman L-430 amplifier has additional pairs of transistors soldered on. The power of the Luxman L-430 is 2x105W.
The L-430 version differs from the L-410 only in power, which is achieved by increasing the number of terminal amplifier transistors.
